What is the didactic game aimed at «My Body. Boy»:

The didactic game “My Body” is an educational board game designed for preschool-aged children. Every part of the human body has its own name, and children are likely already familiar with most of them. This game offers a wonderful opportunity to reinforce that knowledge while teaching children to recognize, point out, and name body parts both on themselves and in pictures.

The game guide “My Body. Boy” contributes to forming a positive self-image, fostering respectful attitudes toward both one’s own and the opposite gender, and encouraging tolerance between boys and girls.

The didactic guide “Body Parts” is also well-suited for role-playing games such as playing doctor. It promotes the development of fine motor skills, memory, and attention, while expanding vocabulary and establishing solid knowledge through play.

This visual aid is ideal for use at home, in kindergartens, schools, or developmental centers.

How to Play?

Didactic Game “Assemble the Person”.

  1. Introduction: Explain to the children that a human is a living being. Every living creature has a “shell”—its body—which helps it move, feel, see, and perform various tasks. The body is made up of parts, each important and with its own function.
  2. Observation: Look together at pictures of the human body (both boy and girl). Ask the children to point to body parts on themselves or on another child.
  3. Setup: Lay out an A3-format game board and prepare cards featuring images of different body parts.
  4. Task Explanation: Instruct the children to assemble a person by correctly placing the cards in the necessary sequence on the game board.

Game Play:

  • The children take turns picking a card.
  • The task is to determine which body part the image represents and attach the card to the game board using Velcro fasteners.
  • Afterwards, discuss each child’s choice, help correct any mistakes, and praise their efforts.

Additional Tasks

  • Riddles: Pose riddles about body parts. Allow the children to guess the answers and then point out the respective body part on the diagram.
  • Sentence Formation: Ask the children to form short sentences containing the names of body parts (for example: “My hand is holding a ball”).
  • Speed Challenge: Organize a competition to see who can place the cards correctly and quickly.
